Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Music has always been connected to how we dress, how we move, and how we remember a moment.

That’s the idea behind CULTURE x SOUND.

For TAE, this isn’t just another brand playlist. It’s a reflection of the music that helped shape the world we come from — hip-hop, sport, streetwear, sneakers, city life, music videos, magazines and the attitude that tied all of it together.

A lot of that starts with 1996.

Not because TAE is stuck in one year, but because 1996 represents a bigger era for us. The ’90s and early 2000s had a certain energy that still influences how we see style today. Hip-hop and fashion were connected. Basketball and streetwear were connected. Sneakers, fitted caps, jerseys, denim, tracksuits and luxury pieces all lived in the same world.

The music was part of that language too.

Nas, OutKast, Jay-Z, Mobb Deep and Pac helped define that era, but the influence didn’t stop there. You can still hear it in artists like Joey Bada$$, Kendrick Lamar, Freddie Gibbs, JID and Westside Gunn — artists who understand the foundation but still move the sound forward.

That’s what TAE is about too.

We’re inspired by the past, but we’re not trying to copy it. We take the feeling, the references, and the attitude and bring them into the present.

CULTURE x SOUND works the same way.

Some songs take you back. Some are new. What connects them is the feeling.

Music for getting dressed.
Music for training.

Music for moving through the city.

For TAE, 1996 is where the inspiration begins — not where it ends.
